And now for my Favorite Topic: FOOD! I like to woof about this a lot. But I like to Eat it most! Grr. But there are sacrifices to being KING POOH, and unfortunately, sadly, FOOD is one of those sacrifices I have to make to set a good example.
There are 32 other dogs that visit us on a weekly basis (I’m exaggerating, but not by much it seems, grr), I have to be Supreme Leader and Great Example of How To Be and all this high and mighty stuff. Ginger and Toby, like the other 35 dogs that visit us, get to eat their FOOD before I do. I have to WAIT! Grr.
Master Joe has the system down. Little Toby and Ginger go in the Living Room of the HOUSE, with the door closed between the kitchen/dining room and the kitchen/guest room. Sometimes Leila’s there too, which complicated things more. But I’ll get into Leila later.
On top of all this nonsense, Cruiser’s learning how to eat with manners! He is such a puppy! Grr. I try to smack some sense into him when the Masters aren’t looking, but then he tries to bite my ear off. Woof! I have to wait for this puppy to WAIT patiently and not attack his food plate. So after an agonizing 25 seconds of that, Finally! ‘Lo! Here comes my kibble!
My favorite kibble comes with left-over steak, potatoes, grr, gravy, slop, and anything the HUMANS want. Grr. But tonight, I get regular ol’ kibble. Duck and potato. At least I have a BOWL. My food goes in that BOWL! That Toby and Ginger have to eat on paper plates. So I guess that’s another part of being KING POOH, is having my own BOWL.
